I just came back from watching the movie The Departed.

I swear, it’s the most god-damned fucked up movie I’ve watched in long time. In fact, fucked up is an understatement. I don’t understand why such a movie like this has received such high ratings almost everywhere – in magazines, in the papers, etc. Are you movie critics really that retarded? The Departed is a seriously fucked up movie, and I have absolutely no idea what the fuck it was all about. Thank goodness it was free, otherwise………. well, you wouldn’t want to know, really.

I don’t understand how people can actually appreciate such a show. I mean, what the fuck is so nice about it? It’s not interesting, neither are the jokes funny. It certainly isn’t entertaining, and it’s damn fucking crude.

Martin Scorsese is indeed one of the most retarded directors around. I think he thinks using vul-fucking-garities in every sentence (or every other word, for that matter), is cool. I certainly am not proud of such stupidity.

To the people who made this movie and wasted one hour of my life watching such a piece of trash (thank goodness I only watched about an hour out of the 3 hours), I have only one thing to say to you: FUCK YOU. I’m pretty sure you enjoy having vulgarities hurled back at you, so there.

I’ve come to the conclusion that 5-star movies are often fucked up movies. I seriously don’t give a shit about what others think. Well actually, to be honest, I think most movie reviews are fucked up anyway. Oh well.

Remember, don’t watch The Departed. You’ll regret it for life.

There have been quite a number of accidents/deaths in the past couple of days.

Someone in my block passed away a couple of days ago. There's actually a funeral under my block right now, something which I've never seen for as long as I remember. Not under my block, at least.

And, if you've read the papers today, you'd probably have realized that a boy actually died in his sleep on his 16th birthday. He's not related to me in any way, but he's my younger sister's friend.

Also, another friend of hers has recently been knocked down by a car, and apparently it's quite a serious accident.

There are a couple more recent cases which I don't really wish to reveal, but honestly, I find it pretty scary, especially when these incidents all seem to be happening at around the same time.

Anyway, moving on. Today's been a great day, and this evening's company party was one of the best parties I've attended in a while. I'll spare you guys the details, because there was so much that happened tonight. But well, I had lots of fun, and I'm sure everyone did too. I'll try to find some time to upload the hundred over photos I took tonight. Haha.

And in the meantime, with all these deaths happening these days, I just wanna tell all of you that I love you, just in case I don't get to say it ever again (touch wood). Yes, each and every one of you out there. Haha.

It’s such a stupid song, I can’t believe Jonathan picked it to sing for the Singapore Idol Grand Finals. It’s little wonder why Hady won the competition and not him.

I also find it rather amusing seeing such a totally retarded-sounding song stay on radio charts for so many weeks.

Some people obviously have no taste.

It’s the 21st of October - and it marks a pretty special day for me.

I enlisted into the army on 21st October 2005 - exactly a year ago.

A year has passed so quickly, and now I’m having the time of my life in MDC. I thank God for showering me with countless number of blessings, and I am truly grateful.

By the way, to those of you who still read my blog, I apologize for the lack of updates. I really haven’t found the time to sit down to write a proper entry, or to upload the thousand over photos that I’ve taken over the year. I have decided to take a well-deserved break from my busy schedule next week, so I will be on off on most days, except for the really poorly-scheduled performance that we have to put up on ACS(I) on Monday (while the rest of the company is on block off due to the Deepavali holiday today). Damn.

By the way, I’ve come to the conclusion that people who update their blog frequently are either internet addicts, or they’ve simply got too much time on their hands. Honestly. Who is so free to update their blog so frequently and post pictures every now and then? Well, apparently some people are. It's quite surprising, really.

By the way, I will be off to Rockhampton with my company in about a month, and we’ll be putting up performances there for 3 weeks. I’ll be back in mid-December, and I’ll head straight for a family chalet once I touch down. I’ll then probably head off to Malaysia for a couple of days (although it isn’t confirmed yet) before flying off to Taiwan for another week, only to return just before Christmas.

It’s going to be a totally mad 1 and a half months, and I don’t know how I’m going to pull through especially with so many String Ensemble shows in the month of December! For goodness sake, we need a break. The demand for our group is getting higher each day, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept all the clients’ requests, right? I’m going to clear my 14 days of leave in the whole month of December, and hopefully, no one calls me back for shows.

Man. I’m seriously keeping my fingers crossed.

The past 14 days have been one of the most busy, exciting yet memorable days of my life.

It’s been 2 weeks of sheer madness, with lots of things happening each and every single day.

My life has taken a turn for the better, and I’ll make sure I’ll keep it up.

Thank you everyone who has been a part of my life these past 2 weeks or so, and to those who’ve always been there for me, thank you for keeping me going.

I’ll do a full update soon when I get the time, and yes, with photos included, I promise.

It’s the start of a brand new week, and thankfully, a much-awaited quieter period. :)
